Car Rider Policies & Guidelines

Scotts A+ Elementary Car Rider  Policies & Guidelines 

Please help us by getting your child to school on time each day (by 7:19 AM or earlier).  Children can go into their classrooms as early as 7:00 AM each morning.  Breakfast is available in the cafeteria beginning at 7:00 AM each morning.

Please help us keep all students safe by not dropping off your children at the school in the mornings before 7:00 AM.  We do not have staff on hand to supervise children before 7:00 AM.  Thank you for your help.  If you are late to pick up your child in the afternoon (after 2:25 PM), you will have to park in the parking lot and go into the main office of the school and sign your student out.

We expect for you to pick up your child each afternoon in your vehicle.  We will not be able to assist you if you walk up to the cafeteria doors or to any of the outside staff to ask that your child be sent out.  It is much safer to drive up and allow us to place your child in your car.  Thank you for your help with this!

 DO NOT try to go around cars that are waiting in the car rider line and DO NOT cut through empty parking spaces to try to jump ahead of cars that are in front of you.  This is very dangerous and compromises the safety of our students and staff.
