Meet Our Principal: Mrs. Jamie Caldwell

It is with great excitement that I join the Scotts Elementary School community as your principal! I am honored to serve such a wonderful school and to begin this journey with our students, families, and staff.

I am entering my 15th year in education, with experience as a teacher, coach, and, most recently, an assistant principal. As a lifelong resident of Iredell County, I feel privileged to serve the community that has shaped so much of who I am. Outside of school, I enjoy life with my husband, Bradley, and am grateful for his support on this journey.

My leadership philosophy is centered on:

  • Relationships – Building strong connections with students, families, and staff.

  • Communication – Fostering open, consistent, and transparent conversations.

  • Student Success – Creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can thrive.

I believe that when students, families, and educators work together as a team, success follows. My door is always open, and I value your input, ideas, and partnership.

I look forward to greeting students each morning, seeing their bright smiles, and celebrating all of the great things happening at Scotts. It’s going to be an incredible year—I’m so proud to be part of the Scotts family!
